Kristin Buesing started working ‘in food’ with an internship at “FürSie” in 1996. Her portfolio now covers the world of food photography, content editing, styling, recipe development and advertising. Kristin’s passion for culinary delights has given her the opportunity to get to know and work with such people as Jamie Oliver, Neil Perry, Pete Evans, Bill Granger ,Peggy Porschen, Kate Gibbs, Christina Tosi or Kylie Kwong.
She spent the first half of her career in Europe, mainly at leading German magazine Brigitte. In 2006 Kristin Buesing decided to leave German shores for Australia. Picking up a job as food editor at renowned cook book publisher MurdochBooks gave her a great head start into Sydney.
Living in this truly marvelous place for foodies, she now switches between freelance commercial work and a role at leading kitchen ware manufacturer Breville. She has been an avid blogger since 2005 and continuously publishes work on this site. Additionally her work has appeared in Australian magazines like Marie Claire, Women’s Weekly, Weight Watchers, Living and Lifestyle and on S’more since 2012.
